I already parted out my old 88 T/A this year and have some parts left that were pretty good.

I ported these heads extensively (bowl enlarged, short side smoothed, valve guide cut down, port enlarged and smothed, and matched to FPP-1205 gaskets). The chambers were given a mild polish to maintain Compression and heads have been flat milled once.

Parts on the heads:
1.94I 1.5E manley severe duty undercut and swirl polished valves,
Valve pockets enlarged for Comp 987 springs and comp retainers and locks,
Replaced pressed in studs with ARP screw in rocker studsand elongated pushrod slots.
Machine shop cut the spring pockets for the springs and cut down the valve guides to clear the lift.

I consistently ran in the low 14s with these and a tpi. I imagine that with a carb on a 305 or in a 350 they would run 13s with the right cam.

I also have a set of pro-comp 1.6 self aligning roller rockers that were on these heads in great shape.

I was looking for 200 for the heads and 170 for the rockers, both OBO. You would have to come pick up the heads but I could ship the rockers.

very interested in the heads. How much lift will these handle? i'll go 225 shipped to ohio on the heads afe you answer just a couple more real quick questions on them.

 

I had a ZZ4 cam with 1.6 rockers so they have been proven to handle .540" of lift with the stock roller lifters, Trickflow pushrods, Comp Promag roller rockers at 6000 RPM.

No cracks on decks or around any exhaust valves, all I did was pull them off the motor and scrape the head gaskets off. Honestly I think these heads would have outlasted everything else on the car if I hadnt parted it out. I have all the reciepts for all the parts and machine work.
