LT1 cam from 97 formula bought for my project but i got new heads with springs to cover 550 lift so now im going a little bigger $65 shipped

cam had 87k miles on it when pulled, good used condition the specs are stock 97 fbody lt1 cam 447/ 459 lift like 202/208 duration 115 lsa... its a very common cam and a good upgrade for 305s, its also the highest lift oem sbc hr cam you can get... you can look it up on a number of web pages ill get you pics as soon as i can but my camera is at my mother in laws i tried to go get it today and she wasnt there so i have no idea when i can get it... how about 55 shipped to cover the paypal cost?? my paypal is rongsays@aol.com thanks

Do you still have the cam? I have a 305 and ive been wanting to do this mod would you suggest roller rockers as well with one of these installed?

sorry guys cam sold this AM to 3GEN90... but of course roller rockers are always a good idea less friction more hp if you meant 1.6 rr instead of 1.5s to raise the lift approx .025" then i couldnt tell you one way or another, i would think that more lift would mean more hp but im no camshaft expert so i wouldnt want to lie, im sure in some setups it would be better and some wouldnt work, depends on specifics

Thanks for the info i want to do a LT1 cam with roller rockers just for a lil upgrade lol.. On the shaft for the LT1 cam that needs to be cut down right? I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to this so thanks for the info.

yes the dowel has to be cut down but it is very easy i did it with a 3" air cutter and it took like 30 secs i measured the one on the stock cam then marked the new one with masking tape and cut it, very easy i was a little unsure at first too then after you see the cam in person its not that bad
