Has all the interior including the digital dash, overhead console WITH FLASHLIGHT, console(lid is trashed), dash pad is trashed, has red seats but they need recovered.

This is a hardtop car. I will try to get some pictures up here in a little while.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

I also have the rearview mirror. It has auto dimming and some kind of mileage countdown deal on it. The connector had come unplugged from the circuit board but plugged back in. No idea if it actually works or not but I can try to test it out if someone is interested.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

If you mean near or far at the bottom of the mirror, it sets the sensitivity level of the head lights behind you. I think that's what your referring to, The dial on the bottom left ?

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

Door panels are red. The top black plastic piece is broken on each side but the panels themselves look pretty decent.

Have any pics of the door panels? Don't care about the door window sill plates... Just got a good set.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

I took a closer look at the door panels tonight, not worth shipping IMO.

I do still have the radio and it works but I have no idea if it will fit an 82 or not.

I got several more parts removed tonight.

$75 shipped. I powered it up and it lit up but I did not even have the car running as the engine wasn't in it so I don't know that everything was working perfectly. I can sell the harness too for an extra $25.

It sounded fine, I didn't try the cassette player but the radio itself seems fine.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

Still looking for pics on those door panels... They can't be much (if any) worse than mine (half the cloth is falling off on the driver's side, one window sill won't stay attached, half of the brackets on both have come off...). maverickh1_l@yahoo.com and shipping to 14482... I'd guess you'd rather sell them than junk them, right?

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

I sure would rather sell the door panels than junk them with the remains of the car but I have shipped door panels in the past that were shorter and they were expensive to ship. If you were closer I would tell you to just come get them but I am not going to take the time to get them off, box them up properly and get you a quote to only have you say that the shipping is too high or even worse get them and them not be in the shape you are looking for and be mad at me, not worth the chance in my book. Sorry.

Radio, instrument cluster/harness and hatch pulldown motor with harness are all sold.

Sale pending on transmission and taillights.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

Like I said, they're in the color I'm looking for (ANYTHING except gray works for me), and they can't be in worse shape than mine. I can probably manage the shipping as long as it doesn't cost as much as it would to ship a bumper cover ($150 in some cases). I'd rather not have to pay for the repair work to mine, which basically need to be completely redone and will probably cost more for the color change (going black and red and mine are currently gray) and rebuild than what you want for them, or have to swap over to a different set of door panels, door handles, handle trim, and door handle brackets, if you have a set that will work. I just won't need the window sills.

Yes they would fit your 82 but I am not going to ship them, I don't want that hassle. I could get them as close as Lawrence KS possibly.

Re: parting out 1987 GTA

I have a truck here that I am going to put an engine in for my wife's cousin, they live around Lawrence, I could send the seats and whatever else you want from this car back with them possibly for you to pick up there but would need to know ahead of time.
