Im selling my Intake manifold and throttle body because I'm converting back to a carb. They're both in great shape, I have the injectors too but I don't know how good they are.
I'm looking to sell it for $130.00 all together.

$100.00 for the intake manifold

$30.00 for the throttle body

They are both black.

Its off an 1988 F body by the way.

 

The IAC is brand new on it also. I'm not taking that stuff off so it comes with it.

I mean yeahh sure it comes with them, don't know how great they are. They ran fine with my car though so I guess they arent bad. I did snip the wires though so If you want I can put a lil extra wire on it for you or you an just get new wire w/e. Ill get the price.

Looking for a taker on the Intake Manifold... It great condition just getting rid of it because I don't need it.

Heres a picture of the manifold.

 

The EGR valve will come with it because I think I need to buy a new one to fit on my new manifold. I also have a new coolant temp sensor that will go with it. Not a bad deal at all.

 

Still have the intake, comes with EGR valve, heater hose connection and the air thing on the back.

 

Interested in intake for 100 shipped. It should bolt up to an 85 block right?

Sorry for the delayed response I was in the process of rebuilding my engine.

 

I do not think it will bolt to an 85 block without modifications. The 85 block will likely have 4 bolt valve covers and the 88 will have center bolt valve covers. This means the center bolts on the intake are set at a different angle and will not fit unless you modify the intake manifold center bolt holes.

yeah hes right. My valve covers are center bolts, so if yours are then you can buy it or if your willing to make those modifications.. Just let me know.

I have a 1989 camaro iroc-z, and I have a problem. My car will start just fine when I go out to start it, & I can drive around & it runs smooth and perfect, but if I shut it off & park it for an hour or two, it WILL NOT start AT ALL. But, if I take the intake pan completely off, it will sputter around and start right up. (my question is why is it doing that?) and if I park it over night it will start right up in the morning with the pan on and everything. another question is when I'm starting it, are the jets on the throttle body supposed to pulse gas into the motor, or is it supposed to be a constant mist? and another thing, if it gets down to about 1/4th tank, it will idle at like 2,000 rpms? but if you have 3/4 full or half tank it idles around 750 rpm?

to all these problems, could it be the fuel pump? the air/fuel mixture? or what?


and aside from all of that, It leaks transmission fluid around where the speedometer cable goes into the tranny, is that an O-ring or what?
