Do I have to have a certain color combo on my wire harness connections to use this??? I haven't bought my harness yet, just wondering if I need to get the right colors.

 

Blue and Red, without looking it up i believe it's 99-02 Fbody or 03-07 Truck harnesses.

 

99-02 truck and 99-02Fbody is what's needed without any hassles. Anything with blue/red plugs should be fine. 03-07 truck is dbw and has green/blue plugs. Plugs physically won't fit into PCM, but can be modified for plug into red/blue PCM easily. If using a dbw harness with dbc PCM, some re-pinning and, and swap of a few plugs will be nessasary, but once again its not a huge deal.

will a 411 work with an LQ4 truck engine swap

 

an 0411 ecm will work with any swap as long as it's tuned for the set-up and the engine is using a 24X crank trigger.

hey will 0411's work with my stock 98 ls1 harness? Keep seeing people dont mess with my 98 ecm.

 

I agree to get rid of the 98 pcm and the 411 will work with the 98 harness you will just have to repin it to the 99-02 harness at the pcm. It's not difficult and well worth it.
