Fellow Thirdgen enthusiasts,

I'm desperately looking for 2 (or 3 or 4) base Camaro (Sport Coupe specifically) AMBER front bumper turn signal lenses. Condition isn't really important.

I don't care if the amber portion of the lenses are crack or even missing. As long as the rear 2 mounting bolts/threaded part is intact and the outer edge that the amber lens is glued to is there. I'm going to be replacing the amber lens with a clear plexi lens anyway.

**Unfortunately the Iroc & Z28 lenses are too wide & the Berlinetta lenses are pretty much too square. The '85-87 Sport Coupe lenses that I need have a more rectangular shape with curved corners.

I have attached a pic of the two style of lenses that will work for me. Either type would be PERFECT! (Pic courtesy of a post made by "two-if-by-sea" .

I know of an 85 berlinetta for parts.It has the clear front lights but I think one is missing the lens.Will they work for you?

 

5215, are you sure that you didn't look at an '84 Berlinetta? I have an '85 SC and a '86 Berlinetta and I believe the lenses are the same with the exception of the burly lens being clear.

 

This is the only part of the lenses that I need. The back is all. The front needs to be in 'ok' shape but i'm going to remove th amber/clear lens anyway.

 

Hey SCORPNER, I actually own a '85 Sport Coupe. That is where I got these pics form. I do believe you are right about the 85 SC & the 86 Berlinetta being the same. IK know the 84's have essentially a square lens. Mine are wider than they are tall.

***Here's another couple of pics of my current lenses. Remember, these are lenses that I removed the amber lens from and then epoxied plexi where the amber lens originally was glued. I then routered the plexi edge flush.

Hope that all makes sense.

 

OHHHHHH, I get what you are saying! ****, that opens the door a crack more now.

EDIT- Does anyone have an extra set of 85-88 Sport Coupe or 86 Berlinetta front turn signal lenses.

Heck yeah, I'm very interested! Even if it's not exact I'm already closer than I am mow, empty handed with no lenses. I really just need the back portion of the lens, the part that holds the bulb socket and that you bolt to the car. How much are you willing to part with these for? I'm taking about the price before you go out of your way to pull 'em,

SIDE NOTE: Did you get my PM and see the payment for the black kick panels?

 

Yes the kick panels were sent out already..The lights will cost me 10 dollars for the pair.Add in shipping and like 5 bucks for me to pull them if they are in decent shape
