No, 1LE is a 12" setup. These are based on the J55 13" HD brakes.

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
Interested, I'm doing the C4HD swap, front and rear. I just have the plain ole j55 calipers, would love these. How much? Brand new you say?

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
Yes, brand new. I've had them for years. Bought them from a local Chevy dealer before they folded. Had wanted to go 13" on the iroc, but the 12" c4's I have now are probably enough for how little I drive the car. Let me know. Prices have come down on them. I think I paid about $420-$430 for the pair at the time. I would take $300.00 plus shipping. That's about as cheap as they get. They're in storage so if you want them it would take me a few days to go grab them. Thanks

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
I thought the grand sport used the same wider opening calipers as the 1le just the hose location and cosmetic looks were different?
they were used on 13" rotors but since they used the same pads and thickness dimensions worked on the 12" 1le
might be worth checking with ed would open up more potential cars

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
I would think if they were that similar, more people would run J55 brakes. I'll leave it as is for now. Not in a rush. Thanks

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
Those calipers are a direct swap for a 1LE, if you get a 13" conversion brackets, some 1LE rotors milled down to hubs and the vette J55 abutments you can use the 13" j55 rotor
Basically the GS caliper is the same as the Baer track 1 caliper with the baer logo on it., Same casting (the wide smooth one without the ribs)

Will the GS caliper fit in a factory 16" IROC wheel? Are the caliper bigger, radially, than the standard J55 calipers, which do fit.

Re: Gauging Interest : New C4 Grand Sport Front Calipers
Physically I believe they are the same overall dimensions, only have a wider channel to accept a thicker rotor. You would need to check with someone like Ed Miller. I'm just selling them for what they are. I'm sure they could be used, with proper brackets and modifications, to fit a number of applications. TTT still for sale

Yes, the caliper will fit a 16" IROC wheel, even a 13" Corvette J55 setup with those calipers fits a stock wheel:
crappy pic but this is a 13" j55 setup
