Rear sun shade
My trunk trim is getting nailed by the sun, can anyone with a rear retractable sun shade tell me how it is installed and if anyone has any ideas where to pick one up let me know.... thanks

gmpartsdirect.com might sell them...otherwise hit the junk yards. they are pretty common to find. To install, push the shade to the left (i believe) and itll pull out.

Axle/Gears: 3.70 Posi disc 9 bolt
I got mine in stages. I got the roll blind first, then the underdeck cover with the notches to hold the end of the blind, then I got the bumper ends that go on the insides behind the seat back. Only spent a few bucks at the junkyard.

a little off topic. does anyone know what the piece is called where the rear hatch shocks attach to the decklid? the metal piece under the hatch (below the plastic cover)...my bolts stripped and was going to buy a new one, but i dont know what its called.

Just a heads up.
You must "wined" the "privacy shade" up before the installation.
Just hold one end tight and start to turn the other end until its tight. Keep it like that as you install by putting the other side in its hole and push in on the end and it will compress just enough to slide it in the other hole.
It goes in a certain way so the shade will open with the top side showing when pulling it out.
Not all GM "privacy" shades fit. It must be from a Third Gen.
When your looking keep your eyes out for a "Cargo cover" as well.
