Water Leak??
So it rained pretty good the other day and I looked in the car today and there was a puddle on my passenger side floor. Where should I be investigating for this leak? seat was dry so not the t top. nothing appeared to come in the door.

Re: Water Leak??
Was the puddle water or coolant? Liquid on the passenger side floor is usually indicative of a heater core leak. If unsure of the type liquid, check your radiator when it is cool and see if it is low.

It's the t-top, or window gasket on that side. Been there, done that, putting new floors in because of it.
Can't really say where exactly islts coming from, but water is likely traveling down the a-pillar and finding a hole in that gasket. Have someone run a hose full blast on that side with you inside. Should tell ya pretty quick. The fix? Clear or black (or white, if you're inclined) silicon waterproof caulk. Works great, much cheaper than new gaskets.

If the puddle is only on the passenger side floor, and everything else is dry, I'd put my money on the front cowl.
Pull off the kick panel, lift up the carpet a little bit, and then have a friend spray the front windshield with water and into the rain gutters.
Then check for leaks near the HVAC box (near where the top of your feet rest) and near the side kick panels.

Re: Water Leak??
Found my leak, looks like I may have to pull the dash out. It appears to be coming in from the bottom of a "heat box" towards the top behind on the dash. Going to have to re-seal it, i think.

Re: Water Leak??
Appears to be fixed, after pulling out the "blower motor door" part I was able to get my hand into that tunnel for the water drain and found hands full of dirt and debris. after cleaning that out I sealed the blower motor door back in with black silicone, let it set for a day and hit the car with water again and didn't find any leaks. thanks for all the advice everyone.
