1985 Z28 Front end damage

Still trying to decide what to do with the pride that has been in the family since NEW.....I rear ended another camaro a few weeks ago and am undecided what to do with this car. We just no more than 100 miles ago rebuilt the engine and the trans. The trans alone was 1500.00 with a shift kit. The engine was redone and we installed Pete Jackson gear drive and edelbrock intake and a Holley 670 street avanger carb. It runs awesome but the body shop tells me that they need 4200.00 to fix it. I think it can be done cheaper but I am not a body person. Anyone interested in the car as it is pm me with your offers and I will decide from there what to do. By the way ot was a 305 tpi engine. has a 700r4 trans. The interior was completely redone and it has t-tops.

all you need is a hood, nose and right fender also head lights..... easy to do.. if the frame ismessed up any competent body shop can do that cheap. paint is a dif story though. but bolting thebody parts on is fairly simple

4200? thats insane man. do it yourself it will cost under a grand..post in wanted parts or frequently check the classified ads for parts. all it seems you will need is a nose bumper support hood fender headlight bar and headlights..maybe some re-fabrication of radiator mounts as well.

Re: 1985 Z28 Front end damage

Well after lots of thought we decided the best interest in the car would be to part it out. I am going to use the drivetrain in another 70's body. If anyone is interested in the car complete let me know what you think its worth as it sits.
