[CNY] 1989 IROC-Z

Hi guys, I'll have more details and hopefully pictures put up within the next couple days, but I'll tell you what I can. I've had my IROC for a year and a half now, and as a college student struggling to make ends meet as is, it really isn't practical for me to keep driving my car, as it is not a finished project yet, and it won't play very well with winters in the bitter cold and ice of Potsdam, NY (I'm from Baldwinsville, NY and that is where myself and my car are located right now). The car can be driven and has been registered and on the road for a number of months now, my only reason for selling is I don't have the time and money to devote to do what has to be done to make it the car I wanted it to be, and I also don't have the money to put it away and save for a time when I do have more time and money.

The specs:
-350 TPI
-TH700R4 Transmission
-Blue
-Black and grey interior
-90XXX miles (still driving)

Message me with questions and I'll see what I can come up with for you! Pics should be coming soon,

Thanks guys.

Re: [CNY] 1989 IROC-Z

The last picture is an attempt at displaying the lack of a headliner.

I'll say $2500, but I am negotiable and would also consider a trade for a 4x4 truck or suv

Re: [CNY] 1989 IROC-Z

AFM? There is no stereo or headliner, and it's no wear near mint condition. It serves a daily driver for me, but for someone with the money to put it in, I'd say it would make a great driveable project car, or it would also be a great candidate for a complete rebuild. The previous owner told me he had a shift kit put in the transmission, and I'm not sure if he tried to do it himself or what, but the transmission shifts kind of funky. The PO is also the one who swapped in the 350 from a 91 bird (this car was originally a 305 TBI) and he tried using an aftermarket wiring harness (painless), despite not having much of a clue how to do electrical work in a car. I sorted through as much of that as I had to get it on the road. It also seems like it could use a new blower fan or seal, but I get enough heat through the defroster that warms up the car after awhile.

If you guys have any specific questions or anything just let me know.

Nope it's MAP. When he swapped in the 350, he also swapped in a 91 computer setup
