91-92 Camaro factory speaker sizes an locations
What are the locations and sizes of the speakers that came from the factory in a 91-92 Camaro. I haven't bought my project car yet so I can go out and look at mine. Trying to work some audio equipment into my budget.

I used the search feature bud. Searched for factory speaker sizes and while it showed some sizes it did not tell what years they were inquiring for. Then I contacted crutchfield via online chat and they said they had 2 different packages for 91-92 camaro's and that depending if the car was equipped with bose or not would affect the sizes. Sifted through some bose threads and nothing caught my eye.
Thanks for the help though.

The bose models had speakers in the kicks and in the storage well.
I think they were 5 1/4's in the back, and I think the same for the front.

For most Its the options not the year, Normal factory sizes from 82-92 are 4x6 up front and 6x9 in the sails as already stated, the bose set-ups get more tricky and are more year related
most of the 90-92 Bose I have worked on are 6's in the cargo lid and like a 4"/3.5" hybrid speaker in the kick panals, the one being a really messed up looking custom made speaker
Takes some custom work but u can get 5.25's to work in the kicks, the one side being waaaay easier to convert then the other, if I was to have to do it again I would so go with Q-logics or custom make some, but he really wanted the stock look
Other Bose set-ups I have seen had 5.25 in the sails and nothing in the lid, but I cant remember what years

Hello Hawk92z-TDZ!
I just found this topic. I would like to get some info.
I would like to know the original Bose Gold rear lid speaker size or any info or part number from the speaker.
And if you can help me with a sized drawing from the lid bottom speaker covering boxes.
I would like to create a similar lid, because i can find a Gold lid . As i see each covering box has a reflex tube in the center. Please measure the hole diameter and inner length too! Will wait for your kind reply! Regards:László!
