ZZ4 cam

I have a ZZ4 cam that I don't have much use for anymore. I bought it for an ambitious project on my old Firebird but I never had the time and money to actually do it. That car is long gone and I don't have any other roller engines at the moment so it's time to go. $50 plus shipping. Located in NW Ohio. Email me at empirebassman@gmail.com if you're interested. I will try to check here but I may not check often.

Re: ZZ4 cam

It is a stock ZZ4 cam. The specs are out there (Google) but I can't remember off hand.

Re: ZZ4 cam

This hydraulic roller tappet is used on the 350 ZZ3 & ZZ4 engines.
The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 275/280
Duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 208/221
Maximum lift with 1.5:1 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 474/510.
Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 112 degrees.

Car: Today? 98 GMC Sonoma
Engine: Seriously? The Sonoma has a TPI 305
Transmission: T56

Re: ZZ4 cam

Kinda late in the game, (I realize it's sold), but I was just curious how this cam would compare to a stock LT1 cam? Bigger, smaller, low end, top end, etc.
