ebay headers?

On a whim I ordered a set of ebay stainless steel shorties for $155 that are supposed to be 1 5/8 primaries and 2.5 in collectors. I Did A Search before pulling THE trigger and most We're Good reviews. This is for a 89 firebird with 355 and t5. The ad said 82-92 camaro/firebird so I'm assuming they should fit. Has anyone had experience with these? Seller is Speedmaster. Upon further search jegs and amazon sell this brand so I feel a little better.

One second. Wasn't sure if ebay links were allowed.

If your selling things I don't think they are but if you have a question about an item on ebay go for it.

Re: ebay headers?

Measure the primaries when you get them. I only say that because looking at the cylinder #6 pipe they look like copies of the generic stainless china ebay header. Which is a copy of the flotek header, both have 1.5" primaries. They are the only header I know of that had a #6 tube like that.

Will do. Otherwise is there anything that could get in the way with shorties and my setup? I don't think the slave cylinder would be a problem with shorties.

The brake lines can come close, same with the clutch line. I used DEI heat wrap on mine. You will also need to make a custom Y pipe although I have a funny feeling the flowtek one would fit. Although I would not recommend it because their Y pipe is a garbage design.

I just planned on having a local exhaust shop fab up the rest.

Re: ebay headers?

Just came in. Did a quick measurement and they're actually a little bigger than 1 5/8 primaries and 2.5 collector. I'll be sure to post more pics when I get the chance to install them

Just got the passenger side on. Went in easily as well. Only one cyl needs a shorter plug. :/

Re: ebay headers?

What kind/brand of plugleads do you need for these headers?
I'm about to install the same set.
