Strut braces that fit over LS engine

What strut braces are you guys using to clear the LS engine? Preferably a 3 point brace, but I'd like to hear about 2 point brace as well.

Is the answer certain brand names, or is it more about the style (throttle body vs. TPI vs. Carb)?

Fast 102 intake on LS3 heads.

Eldebrock 3point for tpi works well only issue is if you get camber plates you have to trim abit of the STB mount to get more adjustment room

Re: Strut braces that fit over LS engine

I have a bmr 2 point for a tpi on mine. Looking at it I think the 3 point version would work, but I cannot verify it.

Re: Strut braces that fit over LS engine

Pretty much I think any stb for our cars will clear a ls car intake since they sit fairly low in relation to a tpi or carb. Pick a stb you like and run with it.

This is what I plan to do when I FINALLY get my LS swapped in: http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/additio...build-a-brace/
Yes, it will require some fabricating and welding skills.

Re: Strut braces that fit over LS engine

I have Kenny Brown under my car, but they don't make it any more. Too bad because it was, and still is, the best stuff out there!
