91 350 with jet stage 2 chip?
Hi!
I have a 91 350tpi and it has a jet stage 2 chip in it. That being said the engine is slightly modified and last year burned rubber for miles off the line. That being said this year I have new tires on it and seems a bit sluggish off the line. The chip is also new this year and wondering if it is causing the engine more harm then good? If anyone has any useful info that would be great!! (and yes I understand that a custom chip is preferred) just debating taking it out if it's doing no good.

That chip is useless. I have the same one, and a 350 in my 87. I took it out because I installed a 5 speed. My car runs so much better and harder without that Jet. I never realized how much it was actually holding it back.
