2.8 exhaust opinions...
I'll try this question here this time, previously I tried it in the exhaust section with no success.
So basically I hate the rasp of the 60degree engines it truly does sound like crud. So my question is how have others gone about getting a decent tone while not having that terrible rasp up high and off throttle?
I'm thinking of running a delta 60 series I have laying here at the my shop with a single inlet/outlet and one single old 2nd gen t/a style exhaust tip with a 22-30in glass pack or resonator after the cat, does that seem like a decent idea to y'all? Or just run a res instead of the glass pack either way something long to baffle the waves is going after the cat.
Apreciate y'all's input in advance.

The engines sound is the engines sound, if ya dont like it then just quiet it down.
My fave sound was when I had a stock can on the back, it had a very smooth high pitch ferrari type sound to it.

Engines sound may be the engines sound to an extent but you can have different sounds and results or they wouldn't be any logic to more than one exhaust company for every vehicle make and model.
Stock can do you mean muffler or did you put a round style muffler on there?

Rev her up I'm 99% sure once above 3.5-4k and on deceleration it will show its face.

Re: 2.8 exhaust opinions...
Go to the thread Best mufflers for a v6 . There are others including myself with clips of the cars running . I have a glasspack instead of a cat and a Flowmaster 3in inlet and dual 2.5in outlets and chrome 3.5 or 4in tips . It sounds pretty decent in all rpm ranges other than a popping from the glasspack when you get out of it . Good luck on your search .

magna flow or spintech
flowmasters will make the rasp worse above 3k rpms , but they sound good at idle and low rpm
thebest muffler for a v6 is a turbo hands down

Re: 2.8 exhaust opinions...
I'm thinking about a resonator to replace the cat and a glass pack (as long as I can fit) after that in the long section of the piping and a vibrant muffler out back...
A turbo would be nice but not in my time or budget. I'll have a good bit of change in it after I do the paint and bodywork myself at my own shop not to add interior, gears and other mantinace things hopefully at the end of it all I'll have a nice weekend cruiser.
