EVERYBODY that posts a guess, PUTS UP ONE DOLLAR IN A POOL, as soon as U arrive at the meet. THE ONE THAT IS ACTUALLY THERE AT THE MEET, THAT GUESSED THE CLOSEST, WINS THE MONEY!

U DO NOT actually have your thirdgen there to be in the pool, but U DO have to be at the summer meet.

Right --we are guessing on how many "thirdgens cars" will actually show--not people--although we welcome any year F-body car (any cool car for that matter--except maybe a Mustang--LOL), non thirdgen cars do not count.

Well looks like me and Max will be there. I wussed out today and had my air conditioning topped of with freon for the long ride. Should have jerked that succker out of there rolled down the window, took off my shirt and sweated all the way there.

In Houston I just can't see surviving without AC. I know our cars are Performance cars, but I consider AC performance at the top of the list! But don't mind me....I'm just an Old Fart with health issues!

Which brings me to the next issue,

I WILL NEED SOME HELP CHANGING THE DRAG SLICKS, BOTH OFF AND ON WHILE WE ARE AT THE STRIP. I WILL HAVE MY FLOORJACK WITH ME, AND BARRY JUST GOT A 12 VOLT IMPACT TO MAKE IT EASIER.

These days, when I'm out in the afternoon sun, just standing there I get dizzy and perspiring profusely--it a reaction to some of these dang meds the docters have me on.

If I'm in the shade, I'm OK. We almost went out and bought one of those portable awnings, but could not afford one.

I can't believe this ****. I think I found the case of my vibration/noises, the front pinion bearing race was discolored and was about to start burnelling. Only possible source I found. But low and behold, O'Reilly's gave me the wrong pinion seal. So I get to wait until 8 tomorrow morning and go get one, get the car back together, hope this solves the problem, and still make it to Texas City. If 9:30 rolls around and I'm not nearing completion, I'm riding with my mom over there. I hate this ****.
