I need more power

I have a 305 in my 86 TA, and I want more power...right now I have a edelbrock performer air gap intake, edelbrock performer 1406 carb, K&N Filter, mallory distributor, hedders, and the flowmaster catback...what other things can I add to give me more power, without going into the engine, and being too expensive?

Feed it a 150 NOS shot till it blown and then get a 350.
Not much you can do to a 305 without going inside. Most of what make a 305 "slow" is the inside. its all 350 on the outside.

Did you have problems with hood clearance with the Air Gap. I would suggest cam, lfters, rocker arms and heads.

O I'm and idiot you said without going into the engine. The only other things you could do is a y pipe if you don't have a new one and a high flow cat. Underdrive pulleys might help, but I have heard mixed results.

With out going into the engine, the only thing you can really do is NOS maybe a pro charger. Or maybe just throw some cash in the rearend and get some lower gears.

NOS is probably still the cheapest.

I'm not sure what brand it is, I got it from a lady off the internet, I'm thinking about selling it soon, if you're interested let me know, it's a fiberglass bolt-on.

Like I said a new Y pipe and high flow cat. You pretty much did all the simple mods.
