Hawks Third Gen fiberglass formula/TA OEM replacement spoiler
I am very pleased with this piece. It fit very well, and required very little work to make it fit properly.
The only two things I had to do to get it ready for paint was to enlarge one of the bolt holes on the decklid on the driver's rear corner of the car as the bolthole in the spoiler didn't quite line up, and sand just a bit off of the bottom of the spoiler towards the front bumper from where it attaches to the windowframe on the driver's side. I attached the spoiler with the screws and using the stock brackets.
I think it looks very nice, I'm VERY pleased. It looks much better than the stocker, and it's super light!

Yup, I have one on my GTA as well. It took work to get mine to fit, but it looks good!

I have one too! My body guy said "its twisted and doesnt fit right" but he's a super perfectionist. I think it looks fine!

Damn formulas look so badass with the 91-92 tails...

Glad you got the spoiler to fit and look good with the paint. I prefer the separate spoilers, don't like that wrap around stuff but the cars still look bad ***.

that's why I wouldn't put one of those on my car. For those who want one I have one that just came last week and don't want it. So if you live in New England area and bring $350 you can take it away. And there's nothing wrong with it and you can check it with a fine tooth comb before you leave with it.

discussed all of this with Bruce, did everything he said to double check and it still didnt fit. we discusses a solution and being they were going to Atlanta i sent mine down with friends and made a swap there. the new one fits as it should, just gotta get time to mount it.
thumbs up for Bruce taking time to work with me on this.

Re: Hawks Third Gen fiberglass formula/TA OEM replacement spoiler
it would req some drilling holes in the deck for the back part of the wing and it would use the 2 clips included in the kit but if you can find a hatch that orig came with this style wing it would make mounting much easier.

as for the "bench wing", my 83 T/A has one and thats all it'll have after having to wrestle with doing the swap. im quite pleased with the wing on my 83.
