CFM Technology's Bored TB

Installed my unit day before yesterday, and fell in love right away..Not sure if there is much of a power increase, but there is a much better pedal feel as far as response...Now granted my old TB was wore out, and I did all the ultimate mods to it, so it may not make the difference on others like it did mine...Idle is better, off idle response is better, and I even believe the gas mileage is up a tad...The guys at CFM said it might be worth 6 HP...I will get to the track for testing ASAP, and let everyone know...So far in my book it is a fine product...

Re: CFM Technology's Bored TB

That's good. 6 hp is nothing you will be able to tell at the strip.

Very true, I have made a few other changes also.Did a whole lot of suspension work too..BUT let me just say, my car drives 100 percent better....My old TB was just plain wore out....The throttle response is incredible now...No more off idle flat spot...

Well the throttle response you'll be able to feel and that should help your 60 ft times which will help et.

Why pay cfm? They are just "middle guy" putz & mostly full of BS.

Your work was done here http://www.rvmorsemachine.com/

When you see the kind of hype that cfm blows...RUN.

Perhaps you are right, but I am very happy with my product, and their service..It is the second time I have dealt with them....Will do so in the future.....

Thats not too bad. Mine is wore smooth out I'm sure at 200,000 plus miles. I assume it came as throttle body only. What did you have to switch over from the old one?

Just the pod, the IAC, and the TPS..It was a breeze....I love it......Looks even better with braided lines, under a new harwood glass hood...

Re: CFM Technology's Bored TB

Now you got me thinking about Christmas ideas. Off subject, have you seen or heard about the cruise happening on the 27th of this month. About a dozen guys or so gonna meet up at Almeda mall and drive to Galveston for lunch and pics on the seawall.
