Unless you put the HIDs in a HID specific projector housing, dont bother. Youll just blind other people on the road and it wont be any better than doing just an H4 conversion.

Re: NEED HELP ORERING HID'S ONLINE!!!
so youre going to purchase HID projectors then make a new housing for it to fit in the stock location out of metal....that sounds like a lot more work than just modding the cheap ebay housings to work. the hids you ordered will have to be compatible with the projector bulb type, which hid kit did you order?

Re: NEED HELP ORERING HID'S ONLINE!!!
the stock bulbs are sealed hologens, theres no way to put a HID bulb in them. you have to get a housing with removable bulb, and get a HID kit that fots the bulb type of that housing. just putting a hid kit in a new housing it a BAD idea, as stated earlier. the correct way to do it, is order a cheap housing, a set of projectors, and cut up the housing and mount the projectors in them. then get a HID kit for the bulb type of the projector you use.

This is the exact same kit I used...

It's bi-xenon, so you'll have both low and high beam. It also has the metal shields over the bulbs to help hide the hot spot. I wouldn't go any higher than 6000 color temp, otherwise you'll end up with that tacky bluish purple color and won't be able to see very well.

Re: NEED HELP ORERING HID'S ONLINE!!!
Is it just me, or is there not even a section on the site for HIDs...
Besides, Ive said it once and Ill say it again. Putting HIDs in a non HID specific projector with a cut off is going to do nothing more than shoot unfocused light everywhere and blind other people. They wont be any better at lighting the road than a stock replacement sealed halogen lamp. They only thing they will be is more money. So far Ive seen 1 set of 4x6 housing with a HID specific projector and HID kit on the market. It sells for almost $1000. The only other real option to getting HID quality light in our cars is to make them yourself by fitting a HID specific projector into a 4x6 housing, then putting a HID bulb and ballast in it.

Re: NEED HELP ORERING HID'S ONLINE!!!
all i found was "hid" bulbs. which are nothing more than Xenon bulbs you can get at the local auto parts store for $20. they arent actually HID at all.
