I want to get these heads

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...248520&r=0&t=0

There's a set of Trick Flow 23 degree heads on ebay for sale for 800 bucks with everything on them. Would these be okay, or should I save up for the AFR 190s ? I really want a set of aftermarket heads, because I feel I cant get any faster with my current setup.

Think the cam I got in there now should be alright ? Traxxion runs the same cam with his AFR190s and pulls low 12's (with a miniram too).

Everything that I have read about the 23* Trickflows indicate they are an excellent bang for the buck.

Yes, the AFR will flow more but is the extra flow worth it to you? If you had a MiniRam, I would be inclined to go with the AFRs as they can take full advantage of the flow.

Blayd,
I don't have the same cam. Mine is on a 112LSA.

Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

Except the LSA IT is the same cam... I dont think the LSA play that much of a role compared to the other specs of the cam.

Yes, the LSA isn't as important as the duration and lift, but don't discout it totally, it is critical in figuring how a cam will run in a car. If you haven't read the cam article in the tech section of this site, it explains the way the LSA effects performance.

But I do agree with Glenn, the Trick Flow Heads offer a great bang for the buck. Yes, they aren't as good as the AFRs, but for $800, they sure make your wallet much happier!
