HSR, Fuel Rails, and Ground Wires

I'm finishing up my HSR intake swap that I started earlier in spring and I am curious as to what others did with the ground wires that used to attach to the TPI fuel rails.

The ones that bolted to the OEM TPI rail bolts.

Only wires are injectors and air sensor.

Really? I had black wires that were hooked to the hold down bolts on the TPI rails. I assumed they were grounds. I'm going to venture a guess those were supposed to be grounded to the firewall and whoever had the car before me decided to ground them to the rail bolts.

Re: HSR, Fuel Rails, and Ground Wires

Thats a dumb spot to put a ground wire !
The grounds for the ECM and sensors belong on the stud on the rh cylinder head. The aldl ground is on the lh head.

Oh, it gets better. While rewiring my ignition coil wiring (going from big cap to small cap dizzy) I found my tach signal wire had been spliced into. That spliced wire went to a hidden switch under the passenger side kick panel that grounded to the firewall...

I cannot wait to rewire this entire car.
