What do you mean which look better? Do you mean '85-'87 model versus '88-'90 model? Or do you mean where to get them from?

Lol, just read the subject... hehehe, wasn't really payin attention. I prefer the polished ones, I got the '85-'87 style polished from Third Gen Resource. I think the chrome ones don't look too good... I've only seen one they look good on, forget who it is though... the white camaro without molding, chrome '88-'90 style....

this pic kinda sucks... hopefully within the next few months my car will get paint & body done, then I'll have some pics of them on the car

go with 18" chrome

go to the topic or title "pics of iroc111's car" you can see them there. I have more pics i'll post them later on, I been out of town for a while and been busy at work. I'll get those pics up for you asap.

oh, one more thing like they said before chrome is easier to clean but I like how Mr. IrocZ polished 18s look on his vert.

Polished, with the appropriate areas painted (ie, stock painted style) is what I like the best.

Not a big fan of chrome, or stuff thats polished to the point it may as well be chromed. Especially chrome wheels... the take too much attention from the rest of the car.

I'd have to say chrome. After seeing Z28z's rims, they look awesome. Mine are polished and look nice but not as nice as chrome. Pic in the sig.

I think I am going to get the chrome...iro111, I found the pic of your car and that looks sweet! I am going to get 17's because tires will be too expensive for 18's.

Swede: I just have to say, you have the only car with chromed IROC-Z wheels I've ever liked. Keep it clean

Isn't chrome way heavier than polished? I like the way the chrome ones look but is it worth over the weight savings? If I'm not making sense its because I have not slept in 24 hours.

Polished. No doubt. The fact is that either style Iroc rim was designed to have some painted surfaces to compliment the polish/chrome/metal surfaces. When you chrome plate the ENTIRE rim, you take away from the lines of the wheel. This of course doesn't mean that you CAN'T like that look. The Swede obviously likes it and I think his car is one of the best looking on this site !!!! But my OPINION, is to go with polished...I'm going to!!!
