Damn, pretty nice! By saying, "Dey on da way" does that mean you bought them tpiroc? If so, please post pics. i would not mind spending money on those. You could probally convert it to HID also. let us know

I was planing to put the white lite setup but the place I went to only had the high beams. I am in no hurry though cuz these cars tend to be a life long project because you are always wanting to do stuff to it.

thoese are not true hid xenon conversion. there are no balasts, and the bulbs are just xenon gas filled blue tinted h type bulbs, and the lenses are not cut for hid type light output. you have to have special lense pattern for the hid to work right, other wise you are waisting your money buying just the balast and the bulb to install into the autozone special. that is why the Sylvania HID kit is 500, and the hella and piaa conversions are more expensive.
hope that helps.
thanks

Just remember, like Anthony said this is not the same thing as a true HID conversion. This is just H4 bulbs in an H4 enclosure with alot of gimmicks. The 'angel eyes' thing is from the BMW's. They come stock with Halo HID lights. When looking at them in your rear view mirror you see a light halo around the light beam. Looks like 4 really bright eyes looking at you, hence the name. The only difference here is the halo is more of a rectangle than a circle ... dosnt really look the same. If you like the look, then go for it. Its certainly different.

Right, it's just auxillary lighting. However the H4 allows for a wide variety of aftermarket bulbs (up to and including true HID conversion for mucho dinero), however most of these "SUPER HID PLASMA NEON HYPERWHITE ICE BLUE" bulbs make a poor attempt to emulate color and performance characteristics of "High Intensity Discharge" systems and claim to be "HID!........................... look".

Another thing I thought I'd mention. When buying 'kits' like this off E-Bay, really double check they're giving you the right bulbs. Some will come with bulbs that run way to much wattage and end up causing you alot of electrical system issues down the road. I would actually recommend running the lowest wattage H4 bulbs you can find. I would also recommend reading the 3rd gen lighting article in the tech section to make sure your electrical system is ready for H4 bulbs. I've run 90/100 watt H4 bulbs on another car and it ended up melting the connectors after about 6 months of daily use. The enclosure and wiring just got waaay to hot.

Does anyone know the company that makes them???
Also I was thinking they might not look that bad w/ some normal white LED lights for the halo [and putting a real HID rig in them]. I think I'll photoshop them and stare at it for a while before think about buying em' Also on the r i c e note, BMW is the one that invented them!!!! my *** the things that get called that latley, it's like honda phobia lol Also I dont think you could make a Camaro look like a oriential car w/ all the japinese wrightiing stickers and neon lights in the world.

The seller probably knows that if he revealed his sources you could cut out the middle man and save some cash! ALL EBAY USERS SHOULD PESTER THIS GUY!!! Then a group of us can do a group buy from the manufacturer and get 'em way cheap
EDIT: Just wanted to add a couple notes; I just asked the guy about manufacturer. Yeah square angel eyes sounds silly but couldn't angel eyes need square frame glasses? If you're not down with the "***** headlights" then that's a-ok, we're entitled to opinions and preferences. I see something like this as an opporotunity to wring the "BUTTROCK" out of my IROC, because it's not 1985... this car to me is a chance to modernize what once was a VERY dated car. In this circumstance, it's an alternate to the crappy, dim sealed beam headlights. When was the last time YOU saw a car made with 4x6, 7x5, 5.75, 7 inch sealed beam headlights? Yes 97 Sonoma's had the odd sized sealed beam, and up to the 01 F250 Superduty too; ok so there's two trucks.

i think the white bulb...since it is legal....looks cool too....matches how the beamers are
heh, that would be cool if we found out the manufacturer and then did a group purchase....if that ever did happen then i would be up for it
im definatley gonna look into these...i dont know about u guys but my head lights really really suck....not bright at all

They sell them with blue 'cause blue looks "coo". White LED would be the way to go in those, that way it would look like the beamers. I got a mail back from the guy saying "Hi, I ordered them from a manufacture oversea, in Taiwan" - Thanks for NOTHIN' Bud! I emailed him back saying "No, WHO makes them, not where"...
"That's a nice car, what's the make and model?"

Well I went to the properties of one of the *.gif s on the ebay page and this is the address http://www.kfmii.com/ebay/trendracin...ALBEAM_REC.gif
now I am guessing that kfmii.com is the maker.

I tried that exact same set for my camaro. I put in xeon bulbs. The first time I turned them on they cracked on me. It was a nice effect, blue halo around the bulbs. I wired them so they would come on with the turn signals, but the whole cracking of the lens really turned me off this mod.
A real improvement on light is the sylvania silverstars. I returned my set of angel eyes for this, a lot cheaper, but the way these lights light up the road is amazing. Pure white light, just 100 K cooler than HID lights. If you put these bulbs in, you'll be shocked as to how good they look.

Slade1, do you have any pictures of the finished installation? I think there are many curious board goers as to what the result is. As for the seller, after I asked him "WHO not WHERE" he replied with "I have no idea." - So my retort was "Then I won't do business with you." and hope that gets results, otherwise the guy is either a jerk or an idiot. We'll see I suppose.

Hey Slade, what was the part number for the Silverstars that you used??? Did you do just low beams or both low and high? Do they make a silver star bulb for the factory fogs? Thanks

Low Beam Sylvania Silver Star Part Number: H4656ST (2 req.)
High Beam Sylvania Silver Star Part Number: H4651ST (2 req.)
Sylvania does not manufacture SilverStar fog light bulbs (yet).

Summit has them in their sport compact catalog (don't ask why I have one)
Matrix GR Motorsports "Angel Eye" Diamond conversion kit:
H-4 bulb not included
GRM-09-1050 4x6" $24.95 each
The only thing that sucks is, I haven't found an H4 that is actually bright... I have the Painless headlight converion harness which helped a little... but all those H4' with crazy Japanese lettering on them suck! The only ones that I haven't tried that are under $100 are the PIAA ones.
But here's an idea:
Same catalog, Matrix GR Motorsports H.I.D. conversion kit:
GRM-01-191 H4 purple/white $649.95
GRM-01-165 H4 blue/white $699.95
Sure it's pricey... but that would be so cool!

Wow, cool update to a post almost 8 months old
The legit HID conversion WOULD be awesome, and you can now do it for about $300 ($150 if you want cheap garbage). There's an HID forum going nuts because there's a possibility of banning HID kits because nobody installs them right and blind people. The fact is HID operates cooler, and is 3x brighter than Halogen; when used properly it's fantastic. So the prices may skyrocket as these kits may become "off road" accessories.
Has anyone installed these guys by now? I'd like so see an install in action. I was considering getting the 7-Color LED halo fog lights and putting them behind my grille, but have been a little hesitant.
I too was sent the "Sport Compact" version of summit but never bothered thumbing through it
Good work, aaron7

I would have to see them in order to offer an opinion, but right now I enjoy the grand prix, monte carlos, 300zx and chevy silverado headlight mods better.
I just wanna point out here, that colored lights of any kind are not illegal in ohio.
From the offical website of the ohio state highway patrol:

What colors and types (under body, in-car, etc.) of neon lights are legal?
Lights must not rotate, oscillate, or flash, but state law does not prohibit the use of colored neon lights under your car as long as they do not interfere or blind other drivers.
Ohio Revised Code, section 4513.17 prohibits flashing lights on motor vehicles with the exception of emergency vehicles, turn signals, and hazard flashers.
As long as the neon lights are less than 300 candle power they are not in violation of any State law. If the lights are more than 300 candle power they must be directed to strike the pavement the vehicle sets upon at a distance of no more than 75 feet. The lights can not exceed 500 candle power. Colored lights, such as neon lights around a license plate, could be illegal if the light illuminates the plate and changes the colors of the plate. State law requires a white light to illuminate the rear license plate.
