Look what I got done today =D

I was able to score the slotted/cross drilled rotors off ebay for $79 for the pair so I got round to installed them today. It's a very nice improvement both appearance wise as well as performance

This was the stock setup before I started

This is the new setup. Much nicer

What brand are they? *not trying to sound like a d!ck* Are they actually performance brakes, or are they more for looks?

Thanks for the compliments guys

Not sure on the exact brand. They are performance brakes. I go through a lot of stop and go traffic and got tired of the old rotors heating up on me. These ones noticably fade less than the old rotors. Plus there is no need to pay that much money just for looks when all you can see of them through the rims is this

Sweet. Did you just search for drilled and slotted rotors or did you include camaro or what?
Thanks again

I looked up 92 camaro rotors. I put 92 because a lot of the people list as 82-92 but don't always start with 82. I use camaro because it seems more people list parts for our cars under Camaro rather than Firebird even though for the most part everything is interchangable There are usually a few people selling rotors for our cars on ebay. Make sure you get rotors with the lugs riveted in already though. Good luck, I am sure you will find a great deal If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Drilled ones develop stess cracks only when misused. If you buy quality rotors you will not have that problem as long as you don't excessively bring the rotors to extreme temps and have them cool down again. With the holes you have better escape for the gases that build up and also a nice outlet for heat.

Only personal test I got in was coming off the freeway where my rotors usually heat up and fade. Well this time that was not the case Car continued with the even strong braking coming down a hill at 65mph to a stop at the end.
