Who did your stereo install? It looks really well done. I live in Chicago too by Harlem and Irving and been looking for a good place to install a system in my F**d

I did my whole install last winter. I just put in an Alpine CDA-7995 Head Unit, and MAN, it brings the whole system to LIFE. I had a Sony CDX-7000X before, and it was good, but no where NEAR how it pounds NOW. Yeah, I built the box and amp rack...it took me about a week or so to complete. I have Polk 6 1/2 components in the sail's, and Polk 5 1/4's up front, w/ the tweets in the A-Pillars. Subs are Digital Design 2010's. Custom Ported and designed. I get compliments all the time on the sound quality and how it looks.
Thanks for the compliment man!

That is one damn good bird. I love it, good job man. Neons look good, stereo blows my eardrums when i see just the pic, and the hood is awesome. Only little thing i don't care for too much are the pedal covers, but you definitely did an awesome job

Awesome car, have you ever posted on the NW Indiana/South Chicago Suburbs board? I'm sure a lot of them would love to see your car. We're setting up the third annual Memorial Day Gathering for next year, last year they had about 35 cars show up. Check it out, I'd like to see ya there.

Thanks for all the compliments!! I really appreciate it.
Black IROC 86: I did the 4th gen swap when I was doing my install. Anyways, I got the middle for around $30 or so...picked up all the seats for $600...power everything. Glad you like 'em
Jim85IROC: I'm swapping out those rims for some Cragar SS'...still deciding on what size. 17x9's would work, but the backspacing is too much. Might go w/ 17x8's??? Don't know yet.
Keep the comments rolling...Never thought I'd have so many compliments when I came back to check

MetalliCamaroRS: I didn't post on the NW Indiana/South Chicago Suburbs board yet. That would be awesome to go to that Memorial Day gathering. So far, I have 2 offers for Thirdgen gatherings this memorial day. The only question NOW is...if I start my engine project THIS summer, will I be done in time...lol

Car looks good. I like the paint, don't see too many clean thirdgens like that anymore. Stock paint? What kind of amps are those? Don't know if I'm liking the steering wheel though. What are your plans for the car?

iansane: Thanks. I painted her about 3 years ago. Dupont w/ a SataJet gun (the model # pass' me by now...lol). Amps are JBL600.1 and JBL80.4...all wiring is Monster...Your correct, I have a '90 Bird. I plan on redoing all the suspension w/ Spohn and Energy Performance. I already got a new rearend that I'm dropping in her soon. Planning on putting in a Pro-Built Street/Strip 700R4 in her w/ a Vigilante Stall. I'm keeping w/ a TPI as I'm going to swap in the SDPC TPI engine in her (HOPEFULLY this winter). Giving her all Baer brakes all around (Still contemplating on Baer in the back, as the 89+ GTA's, etc. use the same Calipers for less $$)
I don't think the projects will ever end...but, I'm not complaining either!!

Very nice! Looks clean as hell!
The only thing I don't like is the steering wheel, something about the grant challenger wheel that just doesnt sit right with me

That's a very well-kept car! It's rare to see one in such pristine condition. I'd like to see more of it as well.

Man I love the way 4th gen seats look! I need to pick up a set.
Nice shine too, Red and Black cars always look soo nice when kept. Although I really want blue.

1fastformula: Nice ride man. I just got a Ram Air 1 hood myself. Currently reinforcing it w/ more glass before I paint it. I'll get more pics of mine when I finish. Yours looks tight though as well.

Incredible looking ride. Awesome shine and I love the audio install... seats are great as well. I'm iffy on the steering wheel and pedals though.
