Red or Silver?
I am going to paint my calipers over this winter and I can't decide on weather to paint them silver to match the car or use red as an accent. Any input would help!

I always had them red, i liked it. Silver would look good but i always thought the car may look to "black and white" so i decided it needed some colour

I agree with Dante, somewhat. I wouldn't use the word 'gay' to describe it because I hate when people toss that word around to describe everything they don't like- seems childish. But I do agree on not bringing attention to stock brakes

Change stock pads and calipers and do them BLUE, like mine. Hmmm, but mine's all black exterior. Anywho, I like to be different, and am the only guy in the area with blue calipers, love em.

I'm voting for silver. I think red would stand out too much, and the beauty of that particular T/A is that everything is understated but works as a complete package.
PS: Vortech, did you photoshop the holes in your rotors??!! :nono: lol

I don't take credit for anything I don't do. When people ask I tell the truth. I give Rob all the credit on the way the car looks. Thats why I liked it so much. He did a great job and and all cedit goes too him.

Red is cliche cause it looks f'n hot. It'll match your rear sidemarkers. Red has my vote.
I think painting stock calipers is fine. They're not the best brakes by any means, but it's not like we're driving Yugos here. It's a sports car.
Has anyone done green? (muwahahahaha)

If your car can't pull of looking like a "sports car" without spray bombing the brakes, something else is wrong. Sometimes less really is more.

We all appreciate your opinion as well, but don't go rearranging my words in the process.

I did mine silver when I painted them (looks a hell of a lot better than "rust"). Specifically I used VHT's Cast Aluminum paint on the calipers and drums. Looks great.

Kandied91z a very valued opinion. Thanks alot! I think I am going to paint them silver. That was my original plan but I wanted to see what others thought. I think the silver will blend in more and not draw as much attention. More subtle!
