Car: 1986 Z28 Camaro Gunmetal Gray with
Engine: GM Crate ZZZ HO 350, Edelbrock head
Transmission: Rebuilt 700r4 all TransGo and Beast
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
What do you guys think of these wheels?
they look so sweet. theyre a little too much money for me though. theyre almost 750 shipped.

i never saw them in that finish before though. ive seen them polished many a time but not like this.

Push me over with a feather.. the word rim has yet to be said by anyone talking about the wheels (aside from me talking about not talking about it lol).
Maybe I'm just getttiing old or just don't get a chubby for covette parts but.. geh.
If it's a rwd car, I like a wheel with a 'dish' to it. 'Tuner' wheels, Z0Whatever, SS, a wheel w/o depth just reminds me of hubcaps for some reason
If $750 is too much justfor 17x8.5 wheels.. you may just be better off with hubcaps because you'll be just as upset to find out how much the tires will cost to put on those... and the price of the spacers needed.....
Just my opinoin though.. don't take it too seriously.

spacers are needed to push the wheels out farther from the axle...adaptors are LIKE spacers except you need them if the lug pattern is different, which in this case, if i'm correct, is the same...which is why i bought "spacers" instead of adaptors...
and in my opinion, you're gonna want to get some hefty disk brakes with red calipers to compliment those thin spoked wheels
they are really nice wheels tho!

Just because one bolt pattern isn't any different than the other doesn't mean it doesn't adapt the two together. I'd use the term spacer for a slip-on style spacer. A big *** washer if you will. And these type that you bolt on, and then bolt the wheel on as adapters because they are technically adapting the wheels offset to the cars offset... Just my opinion... And you know what that's worth.

Also you are going to have to dump some serious cash into a brake setup, the tiny little thirdgen brakes behind those huge wheels with small spokes will look awful.

well i know that i went to about 3 car supply stores asking if they had adaptors for a 4.75/4.75" bolt pattern and they all 3 looked at me funny...they said, no but i know what your looking for, "spacers"

Well I kind of agree with deadbird, I love the lip on a rim, the bigger the better.
The rim is nice, but not for that price. Thats IMO. To pull off to wheels you for sure need a nicer brake setup.

It's like calling your engine a "motor." Yes, engine is correct, but everyone knows what you're talking about when you say motor. It was all a joke between deadbird and myself anyway.
But they're still adaptors.
