My car + Boze Stingers? What do you think?
I just got off the phone with Zack from "Boze". I'm considering getting a set of "Stingers"...but I'm still not sure if I should get the 18's or the 19's. I believe these wheels will definently update the looks of my car. What do you guys think? The 18's or the 19's?

I personnally like the wheels. They look a little like mustang wheels though. I'd go with 18's just for weight savings, but I drag race. If your all about looks, 19's are good for really filling that wheel well up.

Those rims would look good on your car no doubt.
I wouldnt go with anything bigger then 18s. 16s to 18s are just right. any bigger and its just to big for the car. Looks kinda silly imo.
I guess im getting old.......

Looking at those pics the 19s on the rear look good from that angle. But the fronts are to big for the size of wheel opening. IMO.

If you use the same diameter tire with a bigger rim it will be a harsher ride. Ride comfort is based on spring rate and height, shock/strut quality and type, and sidewall flex. Bigger tires provide more sidewall flex which keeps road vibrations from being carried to the passenger compartment. A big metal wheel with just a thin strip of rubber doesen't provide a whole lot of protection. Thinner sidewalls do provide a tighter ride with better handling for this same reason
Also the narrower sidewall can cause the tire to blow out more easily. I personnally don't recommend getting the biggest wheels or the tires with the narrowest sidewalls. I wouldn't go bigger than 18's for ride quallity. I would actually recommend 17's. With seventeens you can get the right ballance of ride quallity and performance handling.

I think they would look great on your car, look at how nice they are on chevyken's car. I would go with the 18's personally.

Didn't someone already photochop those for you with a black center at one time? Who knows
. For what the car is mainly used for I would recommend the 19"s. One inch makes a huge difference when filling the wheel well with chrome, and judges will make note of this. If you are still planning on running this around town make a compromise with 19" rear, and 18" fronts.
Search shawn18jgr he has a 19/20" combo that looks awsome!
Anything you do will look great I'm sure!!

No doubt your car would look sweet with those wheels. I want to say fo with 18's but Kandied's car looked sick with the 19's

Car: too many ...
I think it would depend on what tire heights you want to use and what sidewall you find acceptable. Running taller tires than stock combined with lowered suspension increases the chances of rubbing/contact. If you can maintain OEM tire heights then its probably less likely you'll have problems with rubbing/contact. Around here a 30 series tire is not streetable, a 35 series is pushing it. Keep your local roads in mind, don't want to damage the wheels after spending all that money. I would run tires with re-inforced sidewalls. Weight is a concern for some, in my opinion both 18's and 19's are heavy so it wouldn't really matter.

Well, I proably only get my car out a total of 6-10 times a year and I don't race it. So, if I go with 18's, what size tire? If I go with 19's, what size tire? Right now, I'm running 17X8 wheels with P275/40's and lowered with the Eibach Sportline Springs....and I've had NO problems at all with rubbing. thanks for the opinoins

I'd say 18's.
The 19's almost look TOO big, and if you want that mean, wide stance, then 19's will definatly be too big for the fronts. I say id you get 18x8.5 or 18x9 that would be the best look and stance for the car. I have a feeling that the 19" wheels in a 9"width will rub ALOT in the front fender wells.
Also, you already know this, but tires on 19" wheels is going to be killer expensive

you dont drive your car that much and when you do you go to car shows, i think then you should go with the 19inch wheels. And then save up to get air ride because im sure the ride will be horrible with the 19s

If I would have seen Jeff's car with 19's before I had purchased my boyds, I would have opted for the 19's

I love the 19/20" combo to each his own. Look how good this looks. I know a Camaro is different but I think it fits the car just right. Its all subjective though. There is no wrong or right get what you want.

I just picked up my 18" boze stingers and they look amazing. Very pricy though. I just realized that if you do get them that our cars will have the exact same hood, spoiler and everthing including the color. TWINS!!

Remember, the bigger the rim the worse the ride quality - generally.
My '97 came with 20s on it, you wouldn't believe how fast I ripped those off of there.

I vote for the 18" front 19" rear combo, would really look sweet. 18's fill the front in perfect and that extra inch in the rear fills the slightly higher rear wheel gap.
