Camaros in space!!!
NASA wants our opinion naming the International Space Station’s new Node 3 …
I say we all get together and vote for camaro… all you have to do is click the link, go to “suggest your own” and type in camaro. I think it would be great just to make the top ten list…
http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/name_ISS/index.html
Really trying to rally the troops here guys, this has already been posted on camaroz28.com and now here… but feel free to copy and past this in other forums related to camaros or where ever you think might be appropriate. (and please fill me in to where you have posted it)
I think most of us know that camaro is a Spanish word meaning friendship, and in the spirit of a space station that has been built by many nations I think the word “CAMARO” would suit NASA well.
p.s. rules say we can vote once a day, so don’t forget!

cool idea... another vote!
on a side note, out of the options provided I kinda liked legacy the best, why did that get the second least amount of votes!

Re: Camaros in space!!!
Sorry to ruin it for everyone, but it looks like Stephen Colbert is going to win the nasa vote by a landslide. I guess it helps that he has his own tv show lol. If I had seen this before I may have changed my vote, but still its no contest. Unless they disqualify him that capsule will have COLBERT on the side.

Re: Camaros in space!!!
Well here is the definition lifted from my year one catalog for camaros lol.
Camaro-n.fr 1. friend, comrade, pal 2. A day to day grocery getter, a drag strip bruiser, a canyon carver, or a bit of all the above in one package. 3. a device used for taming horses...

Re: Camaros in space!!!
Actually "camaro" in spanish could also be interpreted as "shrimp". Its the second example of a mistake Chevy made in that market.....Ever heard of a Nova? Guess what that means in spanish...."It doesnt go".
I like the "tin can" name though....Obviously an early 70's Bowie fan. Cheers!
