I've been thinking about what color would be best in my opinion for my Iroc, when I have the cash to paint it, but it's confusing.

Well, you can't really tell from the picture but, the car is mostly 'brown lace'. That's the parts car for my '86 which is red.

I can't tell you what color to paint your car but, you can't go wrong with a black IROC!

Mine when I first got it, nothing like gloss black, flat black and brown rust!! Although this car was originally white...then black, an dnow grey...

Mine was gloss black once. It also had many racing decals and names on the side over the years. This is how it looks now and I think I finally have a paint scheme I like. Everyone else who sees the car also likes it.

Nice! Thanks for posting. I've been checking out a lot of videos of black Irocs, looking at a lot of pictures, and I just might have pictures of my Iroc with a new shiny black paint job around summer/fall 2010.

But to anyone else with a black Camaro, keep posting! I love the look of them.

Funny thing is, I think Third Gens have way more interior room than any extended cab truck. I think if the "hump" if you'd call it that. in the hatch area was cut down about 6 inches, and the backseat and very back of the hatch area were filled in, to make it an even spot, you could fit a small bed in the backseat-hatch area. Then possibly sleep 4 people in it, between a small bed and the front seats.

I'd like to try something like that one day, it'd be a neat project/joke to do if I could ever afford a second Third Gen.
