Should I keep em or sell em?

I recently bought this 91 RS with these wheels on it. It's in need of new tires, so debating on whether or not to spend for new wheels or just keep these for a while. Thoughts?

I wouldn't be in a hurry to replace those even if they're 16's. They look better than most wheels I see...

I really like those. If I had a little more money I'd tell you to sell em so I could buy em. They look good. It's just a shame they're only 8 inches wide, but so are the stock 16s.

What brand are they?

They are ARE (American Racing Equipment), not sure what year they were made tho. They do have high quality metal centers, as opposed to plastic ones.

Not too bad at all, may as well keep them for a while. You can always change them later on. Nice buy by the way, the car looks to be in pretty good shape. What did you pay if you don't mind my asking?

Well I compiled a little file of what i know about the car, with the list of improvements and such if you care to read. Knowing this if you dont mind ill let you tell me what you think its worth first. Kinda curious if i did okay or not lol. If someone cant open it then i can post it on here, but i didnt wanna take up space if helped. Sorry for the drawn out response.

Re: Should I keep em or sell em?

Ok so I got curious and decided to put a wheel off of my S-10 xtreme on the car just to see what they would look like. Cause as a general rule im more of a 5 spoke kinda guy. These wheels are 18 x 8 Torqlites. After putting these on here i think 18's might be too big for the car. They look so much smaller on my truck, and better too i think.

I appreciate everyones responses, i think im leaning more towards just keeping them, atleast for the time being. I do like that they are different and unique, doubt ill see another 3rd gen with them.

This is just two different style... Pesonaly, I like both but have a little preference with the 18.

Re: Should I keep em or sell em?

crazyhawaiian has those wheels (or something very similar) however they're 18" and they look great on his car. I like your wheels, but I'd perfer them to be larger.

now those wheels off your S10 look killer on the camaro!!

Re: Should I keep em or sell em?

I think both wheels are horrible and you should sell them immediately. j/k those 16's look great and would look even better with a little drop. sometimes bigger isn't always better. i'd keep those 18's on the xtreme. i too own an xtreme and can imagine those look pretty sick on it.

Something similar. He has Boyd Coddington Tuned wheels. I'd prefer the ARE's if they were 18x9+ but not in 16". I like those wheels off of your S10 Xtreme.

Re: Should I keep em or sell em?

Nice car! Those look like good wheels, and you said they have metal caps on them? Nice. Yeah, run those for a while, until you reeeeally find something you fall in love with. 16" tires are cheaper anyways.

Also, have you taken any interest in painting your headlight pockets? A bowtie grill would look clean too. Just wondering.

Well i do like the look of the headlight pockets painted black, but not worth doing just to do, when the paint is perfectly fine as is IMO. Although i am definitely entertaining the idea of some kind of stripes or something to give the car more character...other than just plain white. I kinda wanted to go in a direction that was different, and possibly create my own design.

As for the grill, i actually like this grill better, specially if you dont have fog lights.
