Matrix makes a set. You can search H4656 conversion headlights in google and get plenty of results.

You will have to cut the back of the headlight bucket so that they will fit as well. They suck by the way. I have a similar set installed on my car with 55w 5000K DDM HID kit and the front glass has cracked on all four, just cant handle the heat. 35w maybe but I'm not going to waste my money or time buying them again. The beam pattern and light control is horrible as well. I will be making custom projector housings over the winter or investing in a set of Hamsar Diversco 71034.

i had a set of ebay h4 conversions on mine for awhile and i couldnt see at ALL, most of those have a horrible beam pattern so the light just goes everywhere instead of in front of you on the road. i went back to the stock lights, i forgot how nice it was to drive at night and actually see the road

I have a set I'm working on, but I am putting a true projector inside them & only using the housings as a mounting plate/box.

Re: what brand are these headlights??????
it doesnt matter what you put in the housings, thats the problem. most of the housings are cheaply designed. it doesnt matter how bright your bulb is when the housing is crap

Re: what brand are these headlights??????
The H4 housings merely become a mounting box. Without a TRUE PROJECTOR in there, then yeah...Light output is going to be crap!
It sounds like you don't understand the difference between putting a projector in there (with H1 type bulbs) & just trying a stock type bulb in a housing with a fake projector in it. I'm cutting mine in half & taking that fake projector lens out entirely.

Re: what brand are these headlights??????
That is where I got my projectors too, but I got different housings. I wanted black ones.
I don't have the DDM HID kit yet, because I wanna get the physical part of fitting them in a Firebird flip up first, before I spend the $ on the DDM kit.

Re: what brand are these headlights??????
Stephen, you might want to consider the morimoto ballasts off of the retrofit source's website, the igniter is built into the back of the ballast and not the lead going to the bulb, and you can get long output cords. Which will give you some more options for mounting the ballast and routing the output leads for the flip up lights on your Firebird. I highly recommend the DDM kit though, the 35w H1 kit is at $35 right now.

And I'll probably upgrade the DDM kit to 55W.
BTW....The DDM kits are either on sale or the price has dropped, by $10!. Now $25 for the 35w H1 kit.

I was already planning on getting the DDM Apexcone kit. But that has ballasts. Are you saying combine the DDM kit with a Retrofit Source kit?

Is what I have, 55w, and couldn't be happier, my only gripe is the external igniter. What I am saying is to consider Morimoto balasts and Philips H1 bulbs the Retrofit Source. I'm thinking about it pretty hard for when I fit the projectors. A little more costly but the quality looks to be a lot higher than the DDM ballasts and bulbs. The only possible downside is that they only come in 35w balasts and the warranty isn't lifetime like DDM. The bulbs on 35w is warrantied for a lifetime, 55w and it voids it.
Ballasts: optional extended leads

Bulbs: go 6000K, 4300K is to yellow for my tastes
