Heritage stripe
Does anyone have pictures of a yellow 3rd gen Camaro with Heritage stripes.
I have always toyed with the idea of doing that to my '85 but would like to see some examples first.
Either heritage stripes or "classic" first gen Camaro stripes.
Thanks
Hank

Re: Heritage stripe
yellow with black heritage stripes? never seen one, but I bet it would look great.
how original is your car? usually mods like that would be for more of the non collectable cars (like my RS)

I have taken some "liberties" with it already, borg warner rear with PBS brakes, 4th gen leather seats & hood blisters. I know that I may have hurt the "collectability" of my car but nothing I have done couldn't be un-done if the value suddenly goes way up.
I just always liked the looks of the heritage stripes. I had a '70 Z/28 a few years back and it had the double stripes. Love that look.
I also have a die cast of Alan Kulwicki's #97 ASA Firebird from the late '80s which has single black stripe on a yellow car that is great looking too.
I'm not sure that I will do anything but I'm kicking the idea around.

Re: Heritage stripe
Here's mine.
Not exactly like OEM stripes but darn close. No louvers or ground FX in this pic so looks a little weird

that's a sweet car! how many times a week do you get asked "is that a bumblebee car?"
