What do you guys use on water spots?

I have water spots all over my windshield and t-tops. I've used Nu-glass from Duragloss applied with a buffer, and while it is an improvement, it does not completely eliminate them. It seems nobody has a sure fire solution, and the water spots really make the glass look like crap.

I have always used fine steel wool and some window cleaner then cleaned them again. If your tops are Lexan DO NOT use the steel wool on them-glass only. Make sure not to rub too hard or hit the trim, but give it a shot and you should like the out come.

Probably need to try vinegar or some kind of diluted solution that removes hard water deposits. Anything you try would need to be done in an inconspicuous place so you don't do any permanent damage.

Edit: This might explain it a little better than I can:> Link
