100 bucks for all this???

today i went to this 'eye candy' place who is making me a pontiac decal ( a 20 by 10 pontiac triangle to go on the T Tops like the NHRA's pro stock class) and he told me that they had the carpet. sound deading under the carpet. both door panels. (all of it) T Top weather stripping and a few other odds and ends for the interior. so here is my question

Its out of a 89 Trans Am (not too sure if its GTA TA or Firebird)
Its black while my car is grey and black on the interior.

do you think this is a good deal for 100 bucks.. i figure the new weather stripping is atleast worth 25 bucks. and the door panels and carpet should be good for the other 75....

what do you all think??? will it all fit and should i or not?

When you say "t-top weatherstripping"
are you meaning what's on the body also?
If so be aware that it is hard to remove without demolishing it, or is it possibly already removeg?

I have seen just the carpet go for $100 on erbay, so if you can get all that, it's in good shape, I'd go for it.

saturday when i go to pick up the decal, i think im gonna go ahead and write them out a check. 100 bucks... the guy i talked to said it came with this...

*compleate door panels.
*compleate black carpet
*sound deading under carpet.
* T Top weather stripping
* and some more stuff im not sure of...

if the carpet is good its well worth. atleast i think so.

my carpet is a gray. do you think adding black with black doors instead of my already gray and black doors is going to look goofy if everything in the rear is going to stay black... or should i paint all the back plastics black also... i love black interior.

hey man does it have grey T-Top overhead liner, if so tell me I need some new liner for my Formula with TTops.

Are you sure you can get the sound deadening material up. That stuff usually sticks to the metal. I thought when you put that stuff down it never comes up.

sweet deal. I priced the whole weatherstripping kit for t tops, 150-200 bucks brand new. But i found out, put a lil vaseline on you weatherstripping, it sweels a lil, and stays a lil gooey to make a watertight seal.

DUDE do it up! the stock carpet aftermarket is like around 150-250 dollars depending on where u buy it.. and door panels are hard to come by in good condition that will match that carpet and they arent the cheepest thing. So i say do it up.. its definatly worth it.. but just for kicks tell the guy ull give him like 75. if hes an idiot. hell say ya!

I went there Sat. but they were not open at that time. I'm going to give them a call or tomorrow.

I got looking at my car today... the moldings that run along the ground effects are gray. i dont know if that would look goofy with black carpet? I know i can paint all that but is that more work then what it is worth...

If i dont decide to put it in my car i know i can sell it and make more money then what i paid for it...

Most likely ill have it withen this week!
