how does everybody feel about this interior kit? I email K1 and they say its worth 900 US without the body kit, 700 with body kit.

one more pic, it looks similar to the 93 +up camaros interior and the 4th gen corvettes. This kit does not need any modifications to factory dash and there is a vent kit that extendts the vents to the new locations, dash id paint to match or can be covered in watever material to match interior, same as the door pannels/arm rests that also use factory locations for mounting......

i say get the kit it looks cool. just make sure not to make it gaudy red. have it just painted black, it would look really cool just painted black like the stock interior or maybe even a gray.

hmm.. i like the body kit, for the price, i'd go for prolly the new camaro interior, because for 900 bucks or w/e, you can get the seats with the others, but still, i like the way that kit looks, whats the site you got those off of? thanks

I really like that kit. I might of even bought it, but that would mean giving up every little bit of storage space I have (center console) wouldn't it?

its a shame this interior kit only fits camaro dashes. I doubt it will fit the firebirds.

It's really not all that hideous but, the only truely bad design part of that dash overlay is the hump in front of the steering wheel. As if forward vision isn't at a premium already in these cars and it serves no function. But, that's only this persons opinion...

they make the kit for firebirds too, but unfortunatly for camaro guys its cheaper, like $50.... The site is http://www.k1-styling.sk/default2.htm

I dont like the hump in fornt of the driver but it would be a good place for more gauges ..and we all know how we like guages.

It would be nice to get away from the factory styling, the interior kit also as seen in the pics comes with a spot for lcd screens wich everbody likes.

I like it from the center console over to the passenger side. But where the driver is gonna be looking.............no thanks. Its all totally wrong. The hump, the way the gauges don't fit the contours of the dash, the way the blocky original sections of the dash (headlight location) don't fit the curves of the dash. Things like that. Other than all that, I think it's scrumptious.

I really like that interior. I had planned to buy it not too long ago. But after finding out that the 4th gen interior will fit as well, you have a choice. I honestly think the 4th gen interiors are a better buy. I'm going with 98+ interior from a Firebird. You can get the entire thing (dash, console, doorpanels) for under $700 easy. Some guys find them in junk yards for insane cheap prices. In fact for $900 I'm pretty sure you could also get a set of 4th gen seats. I mean the 4th gen interior wont be 'bolt in' like the K1 interior, so thats something to think about. It would cost alot to pay someone else to do it, so if you dont wanna do that kinda stuff then maybe the K1 interior would be a better choice. I still plan to do the Evo II kit on my 91z, but for the interior I'm sticking with 4th gen parts.

I like it. It's different than factory. Different from the fourth gen swap. It looks like it has some drawbacks but it's original.

I don't know if you guys noticed it or not, but that dash is modeled pretty closely to the newer camaro dash. And another thing, everyone is complaining about the hump over the gauges...The new Firebird interior is the same way.

I might be alone on this one, but Camaros were meant to be blocky and have edges, and I like it! That's the whole reason why I vow to never own a car 1990+, they are all curves!

That kit looks like a replica from a newer C4 corvette. I like it but wouldn't pay that much...

It looks alright at first, but then you notice the stock camaro cluster simply surrounded by fiberglass, and the center area of the dash. The vertical mount climate control looks retarded :P I would't put it in my car...

Scroll up they linked it eariler. He means that it is $900 on its own...however if you buy a the exterior body kit...which I'm assuming you haven't seen or heard of since you don't have many posts, yet the K-1 kit is brought up about once a month. But anyways, if you were to by the body kit the interior would be just an additional $700. So you'd be saving $200 by buying both at once instead of seperately.
