Jongbloed hood? could it be for real?

http://www.gtautoacc.net/Jongbloedaero.html

now, i know about gt-auto's wonder full history with us

but according to their site, the JB hood is being made, for a rather healthy $470. but if this if for real, it is big news!

wow, can this be for real? after all this time???

Maybe someone will actually make a 5" spoiler for the Camaro, too.

Those pictures are pretty crappy, they really don't show the contours of the hood well.

I'll assume they are pretty unreliable then.

That was an eye opener. They were completely unprofessional in both dragging hawks into the arguement and then posting bussiness information for everyone to read. I don't think that does anything for their credability.

what also has me wondering is this....

]

now we all know that this IS NOT the gt-auto hood, that is the real thing that picture has been around long before the gt-auto even thought about making this hood...

so does anyone know the source of this picture....

is that another picture of the jongbloed that has been around , or is that the actual gt-auto product?

Dewey, that silver car is owned by Vettetrax. It's an 83 Z.

I knew I remembered seeing that pic from somewhere and here's where from.....

LOl someone watches the Simpsons
Based on the GTAuto past relations with the Thirdgen community I will never buy anything from them. Didnt the owner get arrested for drug importation and sent to jail?

Yep, it's just you.

Why doesn't anyone call this company and ask for some proof that they are a legit business? It's a lot easier to do that sitting around and being curious.

That's the bad thing about GTAuto, you cant get in touch with them period. They never answer calls or emails so its kinda tough to get any info directly from them.

Hello, First off I would like to apologize for the last few months I would like to explain but this forum is not the place. We have moved from Florida to Connecticut and are back in production. There were only 3 or 4 orders that were lost or not filled and these will be settled within the next week or so. This is not bad considering the amount of orders that passed over my desk in the last year. But this still should not have happened, and I am sorry it did. There are questions about the jongbloed hood. This is the exact same hood that was made by Bill Jongbloed years ago. We purchased the mold from him and did have to do a little work to it but did not change the design at all. as far as not sending GT auto any money there is always c.o.d.

Thanks and I hope everyone accepts my apologie.

Our hours are 9-5 eastern week days but we are in the shop most week ends also. www.gtautoacc.net

Anyone in the area feel fee to give a call and stop bye.

Re: Jongbloed hood? could it be for real?

dont feel too bad about the date thing. i think all of us has done it at one time. as far as Gt fiberglass goes i was thinking of getting a hood and wing from them. wondering if anyone has purchased a high rise wing from them and how much does it look like the factory one.
