If this is a repost, I appologize. Minus the hood scoop, I like it. Different but not too "import-y"

Sorry, no eBay links.............

I'd say it is very importish. Lots of "air ducts" that go nowhere and do nothing.

That thing looks awful. It looks like the shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Wow....no wonder aftermarket body kits are so hard to find....appearently people do not want them at all for 3rd gens. Personally, I think the car would look pretty sweet as long as 3 more things were done to it.....1-It had '91-'92 tail lights. 2-It had different rims and rim size. 3-clear side markers up front.
As it is now, I like it a lot. I give props to the guy who designed it. Not because it makes the car look outstanding from stock. No I give him props because he's actually taken the time to build a groud fx kit for our cars, which are very few. He does not need to go to art school at all-at least he has made an attempt at something nobody else has

no, the first problem is having ones that look decent in the first place.

next, fit and finish have to be worth having.

and demand; the typical domestic owner puts more money into parts that actually make it go faster than the frivolous body frills that 90% of body kits are.

It's just hard to take cars with body kits seriously, so often the owner isn't serious about performance, or is just going for a look, and the association is made between body kits and poserhood.

Here's a quote I love:

My car doesn't look fast and my car doesn't look furious...so when you see my taillights fade into the distance, remember this: I was into cars long before you and the rest of the trend-humping lemmings showed up and I'll be into cars long after you move on to the next pop-culture trend that you decide to shamelessly bastardize.
(speaking of the boom in auto aftermarket following the fast/furious movies)

The "and demand" is a good point, but remember not everyone is performance oriented, or else we wouldn't see so many 6 cylinders in f-bodies.
Personally I am with you on going with performance first and formost. However, after I have achieved my desired performance level, what is left? Paint? Tint? Clear turn signals? Completely stock body, minus maybe a 5" spoiler? No, I will want more, and something other than rims and a hood to seperate my look from others. Granted, I would not go with this particular kit, but I would not be opposed to a body kit just because I was afraid of being associated with having my car look "fast" or "furious". I for one do not want a "sleeper", but hey that's just me.

The stock ground effects have ground clearance issues as it is, not to mention with a lowered ride height.
