I thought they would too but it seems to actaully be better then the originals. The 'peaks' are scuffed and seem to grip pretty well so far.
Jim85IROC at first, I thought the same thing until I put them on.
A buddy made them for me. I hate the aftermarket ones that attach over the existing pads and add more pedal thickness. These are actually half the size of the originals and very strong.

They look alright. Not a huge diamond plate fan. This may sound crazy, but if you get really bored one week you could try modifying all of those raised sections into Chevy bowties. That may be a lot harder than it sounds unfortunately. It would definitely give you something unique though.

I dont think that those go well with a muscle car but I cant really say, feelings are mixed. At least polish them or scuff them in a wire wheel, the way they are is just cloudy/faded. Its nice that you actually tried something out of the ordinary at least. I want to find something to do with my pedals also so if anyone has any suggestions or pics please pm me.

I think that they look pretty good, but they might like really nice it it was gloss black or even black chrome.
