Nasty Sticky Under Carpet
Anyone have any tried and true ways to remove that nasty under-carpet sticky that glues down the jute padding? I'm POR-15'ing the floorpan, and I want to peel it up so I can do a good job, and I must say, it's some of the nastiest sticky crap that I've ever come across. It resists being scraped up, I've tried using acetone and lighter fluid, and the crap will not budge.
Anyone ever pulled this crap up before?

That's pretty much what I've been doing. :/ Got all the way to the bottom, and found some kind of metal plug for the floorpan? Now I'm kinda regretting doing it.

Re: Nasty Sticky Under Carpet
I took a heat gun to it untill it became really gooey and then I scraped the majority of it up. Then i used a drill with a wire brush to get the rest. That part is kind of messy
