what a rare junkyard find....
hey everyone.... i went to my local lkq junkyard place near my house and scored some factory aluminum louvers for 13.00. this is not the cheap abs plastic crap that the aftermarket sells... it came off a 85 trans am... with all the accessories and was in excellent shaped... so i grabbed them and put them on my gta that same day.... what do you guys think.....

Re: what a rare junkyard find....
thanks everyone.. im going to paint them a nice gloss black.. these could use a little painting because they are faded .. i do agree that some of those aftermarket louvers do look pretty ugly, but the factory piece looks nice on my car and goes well with my red and black theme.... i would say if your going to get any kind of louvers to get the factory ones..... they look the best....

Nice!!
I tried messing with a used aftermarket set for my IROC but found out there's almost nothing you can do to make those look good.
Yours look awesome!!

Some of the guys at the yards have no idea what stuff is LOL. I picked up a mint dash pad last week for $15 and am going back to the yard to this week to clean out the rest of the interior.
