Group purchase under way w/ MacEwen White Faced Gauges

I thought that I could post here b/c it has to do w/ the interior and relations of the car. I have been in contact w/ Ryan MacEwen about a group purchase for us b/c I know a lot of you guys want the white faced gauges like me so this is what he said: "Rates of a Group Purchase:
Minimum of 25 members. = 20% discount
Minimum of 15 members = 15% discount."
He basically made me the liason for us so we can get this group purchase under way. E-mail me or respond on the board to let me know whats up guys. Ok, and does it sound good for you guys? Also the discount applies to the bulbs as well.
Also to the moderator of this board, if I posted this topic in the worng area then I'm sorry but if I didn't then it's all good. Talk to all later

Well that's a total of 5 people in this group purchase now. For all the 3rd gen's except for the TTA it is $70 list and the TTA is $85. What I am going to need to send to him is your name, the year of your car, model, make, top speed on your speedo (example: 85 or 140, or so on), end where your tach number ends at and when the red line begins.
PLEASE everyone who wishes to get these e-mail me w/ all your info b/c I need to keep a tally and then you guys can deal w/ MacEwen on your own b/c I will have given your guys names to him so that he knows that you are in on the purchase b/c the last thing that I want to be responsible for is your guys credit card info and addresses and that crap so he said that's the way he wants to handle this which is great by me. Later all

Let the GP BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We now have 26 people in this GP including myself. So Ryan will get all this info on Wed. so that gives me enough time to get all the info from other people that I have not gotten yet. It may take a little longer but I do have to wait to get I all the info that I need. I am still waiting for about 6 people. But Ryan will know tomorrow though. Thanx all

Can you beleive it guys we are at 31 people now for this GP. Keep it going if we can. I will send out all the info to Ryan on the 20th of this November. After that Monday the deadline for the GP will begin. On December 4th the GP will end so if anyone wishes to get in on it before then, let me know so you don't miss out. The first orders (however many there will be by Monday) will be sent out to Ryan and you guys can deal w/ him and he will know who you are from me. Just keeping you guys posted.

Hey Hey Hey...I might jump in too...but I'd like to see what they look like before I commit.

Does anyone have any pictures of these?

Cause if they look cool I'd like a set for a '85 Z but with the 145mph speedo since I converted. Also...my tach red lines at 5500, but I may need it raised. Who knows...

Please fill me in with pics and I'll get it if they're good/cool!

I want to get it but I have a '91 RS and I need to get the numbers off the template. If you do not know what I am talking about there are 3 different patterns for the 91's speedo.

Remove both panels from under the dash. Take out the two screws (maybe 3) holding the trim plate around the instrument panel. You do not have to take the trim panel all the way off, just unscrew it and pull it foward. you will have to remove the light switch **** to move this plate foward. To do this lay under the dash and use a skinny, non-metal (because if you use metal and hit something, it will blow a fuse,,,just use a pencil.) stick to press the button at the bottom of your headlight switch (the button with the spring on it). While pressing the button, wiggle the **** and pull it off...it may take a little time, but it will come. then just take off the clear plate over the cluster and you should be able to see the numbers in the bottom left corner of the speedo.

That won't work b/c for the simple fact that they are just overlays for the existing gauges that are in your car. You would need to get a 145mph speedo in order for it to look right if you wanted the 145 gauge overlays.
