Emblem Question

I have looked at many pictures on the internet trying to find these particular emblems installed on a car. The only ones I have seen on a third gen say "5 Liter H.O." with the spelling "Liter" and not "Litre" These don't even say "H.O."

It is a GM part and say they're for the rocker panels. Any input?

Re: Emblem Question

I bought them off Ebay. The seller lists them for a Camaro rocker panel and shows the part number on the box as #20359801.

My car isn't a "H.O." by any stretch, but I always felt that Chevrolet should've put some additional emblem on my model like how they did with the Berlinetta and other models on the left hand side of the bumper. I'll either install one on the back bumper or just keep them for future use.

Re: Emblem Question

Could they be badges used on Export cars in Europe/Canada?

US spells LIter, EU spells Litre.

Re: Emblem Question

Interesting. This source also lists them as being for third gen Camaro rockers and shows a blow apart picture diagram of them installed on a Camaro rocker

Re: Emblem Question

Got the emblems today. I took this picture demonstrating their size in relation to a typical plastic picnic fork as I didnt have a ruler on hand.

"Litre" is French.
Rest of Europe spells "Liter".

Re: Emblem Question

Look at the mirrors, it's an Canadian export version.
Explains "Litre", as parts of Canada are French speaking....
(Not many 3 Gens are exported to Europe, and only a very small amount would have been sold on the French market....).
