Asking $20,000 OBO. This is a survivor car so I am hoping to sell it to a collector that wants to add it to their line. I am not sure how the market is for these cars right now so I am listing high and looking for a fair price. If interested please email beebow1@cox.net.

You'll be hard pressed to get half of what your asking, especially on here. Very nice car though and good luck with selling it. By the way, what does "this is a survivor car" mean?

I may be completely wrong, but from what I've gathered, survivor car basically means it's in driven condition and hasnt been restored. IE, it's not perfect, but it can be with a little work.
And I hate to say it, but you're definitely not gonna get $20k here. You'd be lucky to get 10. These cars are, at least here, worth generally 1500-5000. Your car, being a 92 Z28 and having such low mileage might fetch towards 10 or more if it's in excellent shape, but it depends on the condition.
Thanks for the input guys. I haven't followed values so I was hoping for some responses. I understand survivor to be exactly what you have listed Vortex. Not looking to get $20K just trying to find the right range. I wanted to list it here for camaro enthusiasts first but will list locally and on some national lists.
My dad paid $8000Cad ($7000ish US) for a PLayers challenge 1LE, r7u race car.
The car was one of 32 made, and theirs beleived to be approx 15 left that were not wrecked racing.
This car sports original paint, built up 350, but original engine came with it.
only 60 000miles.
Im thinking that car is worth 6,000 - 7,000 with that milage, but you will be hard pressed to sell it on this board, as the majority of us on ehre know the values, and want these cars for everyday use and performance applications.
and i have the RS version of your car, and i bought it for $7,000 2 years ago with 22,000 miles on it, so thats probably your range a little more or less
Hopefully the market gets better for our cars. I am not in a hurry to sell, this is just one of my toys. I don't want to undersell and help drive the prices down even more. The car gets comments everywhere I take it, so at the prices you guys are listing I may just keep it for fun.
I also have a '92 Z28 Z03 1LE with 77k miles but it's Black w/Red Stripes.
Have you thought of listing your car in Auto Trader, completely different audience. Hard to put a value on your car, every vehicle is just so different. From what I've seen this board is usually good for $3k cars, so I wouldn't except to much of a responce. Just be ready for some odd replies.
Value is completely based on location. A car worth $2,000 in one state might fetch $5,000 in another.
Very true Blue, I paid $850 for my 85 in MD and sold it 6 months later in NM for $6K.

Curious, how are you arriving at your '92 Z28 Z03 value of $5,500 - 7,000 when NADA's low value is $9k & high is $15k? Low being a clean unmolested car in good working condition.
Are you looking at another value guide or just using a number in your head?

Take care,

NADA means nothing. Market value, meaning what most cars sell for in a range, are true numbers. Knowing thirdgens over 14 years, that is about what they are selling for. Especially when you can get a 4th gen LS1 car for close to that price, it just makes a thirgen harder to sell.
Then again, if you get someone willing to pay $15K for that car- then you are a better salesman than I.
I agree to a point, but from a collector's point of view the last Third Gen was 1992. Yes, an LS1 or LT1 for that matter is a better car in almost all categories. In the end it all depends on what someone is looking for.
An example: Is my '97 Camaro SS 30th anniversary which is also #93 of 106 SLP made LT4 equipped cars worth less than an LS1 equipped 1998 Camaro. The '98 is a better car with a much better engine but which car will be worth more to a collector in 10 years?
Same holds true for a '92 Z28 Z03....well at least I hope it does.
I see you have a 2004 GTO, talk about a nice driving car all around. Have you started your search for an LS2 too drop under the hood?
Very nice Z28, best color combo in my opinion but it's very hard to compare a car with 70k miles to one with 120k+, sorry. I would expect to pay that much for a non Z03 '92 Z28 with 120k+ miles. Are you talking about the '92 Z28 in your sig and is it an authentic Z03? Does your '92 Z28 have the original paint, interior, etc. If not then we are talking about two entirely different '92 Z28's.
Here's a '92 Z28 Z03 about 10 miles from my house, the price is rediculous but eventually it will sell.
