Can't afford this one anyore, hate to let it go. First the bad news. It doesn't run and I don't have the cash to get it fixed right now. The harmonic balancer bolt came off and the timing chain broke. You might be able to buy a new balancer, chain and cover and be done with it or it might need more. The body is a little rough, some rust but nothing rusted through.
Here's the good news:
Bilstein Shocks & Struts
WC T-5 xmission (~65k mi)
3.23 axle w/ disc brakes
New rear springs (Moog, prog rate)
Original Crossfire intake
350 block bored .30 over
Original fiberglass hood w/ functional cowl induction
New speakers
Nearly flawless dash (small crack on left side)
New door panels
The exhaust was 3" pipe from the cat to the muffler (which is an edelbrock, not sure which model) but I've since replaced the cat with some 2 1/2 pipe and a flare to mate with the 3" pipe.
I was trying to switch the car from blue to black and grey interior so I have most of the black interior plastic pieces. The seats are still blue. The carpet I cut and would probably need redone, I cut it too small in some places. When I pulled out the old carpet, I sanded down any rust, treated it, sealed it, primed it, then repainted all the floor surfaces in the passenger compartment and the trunk with Buskote, a ceramic microsphere thermal insulating paint. I also used a bunch of damplifier on all the flat surfaces, floor boards, and the inside of the doors. The carpet padding has been replaced with soundbarrier pads and newer synthetic padding instead of the crappy stock jute felt. That work is documented on my photobucket page: http://s208.photobucket.com/albums/b...0Camaro%20Z28/
Here's a sample photo from the album that shows the interior repainted with damplifier, before padding and carpet:
I REALLY don't want to part the car out. I don't care what you do with it, I put too much work into the car to chop it up like that myself. Plus, I don't really have the time to go through the hassle. The parts are easily worth the purchase price and then some. First $800 takes it. Or, make an offer. I'll try to get some pics of the passenger side up in the next day or so. Thanks for looking!

If it makes a difference, I took a closer look and it really looks like a new balancer, timing chain, and tc cover would get it back on the road. Aside from the balancer issue, the engine has plenty of life left. It got me down to Nashville w/o any problems (about 5hrs) and did pretty well on gas too.
I am interested in the car. email me or message me. i live in springfield i will talk to the bank but first i would like pics of the entire car as it sits RIGHT NOW just so i no what all is wrong with the car. is the interior in the car? how are the brakes? suspension? tires? so on and so on or give me you number and i will contact you when it best suits you thanks
