rattlin issues
hey guys, i hav a question, i just put in an infinity perfect 12.1d in the trunk and i completely covered all the sheetmetal in the back with dynamat....but..im still having rattling issues. It seems to be the taillights and the rear bumper. Any of u guys have any idea what i could do to deaden those areas, thanx alot!

The tailights, i would pull them off and put something back there like velcro or something thick and soft, so when you tighten the lights down it will compress the material a little instead of a tiny gap between the plastic and metal...
The rear bumber, you might want to go to home depot and get some spray in a can called "great stuff" BE CAREFUL how you use it it does drip some. you might be able to fill in some air gaps..

be careful when dampening the taillights; i did and i believe part of the metal on metal contact is ground; i dampened the heck out of them only to get pulled over at 2 in the morning by a cop for no working taillights. i got off easy cause he saw that much of my interior was in the process of being put back together. as soon as i removed the foam i had put in, the lights were fine. so just pick your places carefully. oh, and double check the license plate; thats one of the places most likely to rattle. i put a piece of foam behind mine (not seen when the plate's up) and it help stop the rattle
