i dont have a spare tire or jack , thats been gone for a long time and wont even fit now over the brakes. And it isnt the plate , i took it off and then used the raam mat on it . I found out what it is , its the rear bumper cover ratteling on the impact bar or the honeycomb absorber which sucks. I took the little push in things that spread out , out , and then pulled up the rear bumper cover above the tails and then put some mat there and it helped , but i think the bumper has to come off which is a bummer. And probably wont happen . Does anyone else have this prob or is this because i have my sub facing straight back at therear lights.

My rear bumper cover rattles too, although I can't hear any rattling at all on the inside, only if you step outside the car. I sprayed some sound absorbing spray on the inside from the front seats back and haven't had a chance to listen to what it sounds like with the subs in it yet. I was trying to figure out a solution to this problem also, but it doesn't bother me as much because I don't hear it inside. I also know the exact spot where it rattles because I can put my hand there to hold it and then the rattling stops. It's right behind the license plate where the cover meets the actual metal of the frame. What do you think?

you hit the nail on the head, it rattle right where you said , i have two layer infront of the tails and the rest is from the tankarea back . I cant hear it inside but i can when the car is off and its loud , but when the car is running you cant hear it since my car is loud , but i still wish i could fix it and im pissed that the mat didnt work , i really think i wouldnt have the prob if my sub faced up . I guess ill have to live with it or bite the bullet and take the bumper cover off .
